little birdPosted by ManuelaR (Hainburg (Frankfurt/Main), Germany) on 4 December 2006 in Animal & Insect. This little fellow was following us on our walk through the woods. Tried to capture him several times but he was always on the run. This is the only time I caught him... not very clear - I know - but I still liked the colours and the "fluffy" effect ;) Hanau-Steinheim/Main - Germany Thanks for your valuable tips and/or constructive input!!

Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, Japanlovely bird...if he's always hopping about then focus was always going to be a gamble...mission accomplished i reckon though...the fact its out of focus conjures up images of you firing off shots in a hurry and I like that...it's nice when we get a window into what was happening a shot was taken. 4 Dec 2006 11:06am Prashanth from Bangalore, Indianice shot... its pretty difficult to shoot birds - one need patience for the same 4 Dec 2006 11:33am Sarah from Gainesville, United StatesNice shot -- the depth of focus is just right, too -- not to much "business" in the background, the blurring helps a little with that. And good, bright colors!! 4 Dec 2006 12:20pm Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanIt is a very cute bird...and the blurry effect is no real cause for concern. The surroundings give a depth of field that makes it look extremely 3D. Great bird pic!! 4 Dec 2006 3:32pm |
