purple grassPosted by ManuelaR (Hainburg (Frankfurt/Main), Germany) on 7 December 2006 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. This purple tinted grass near the lake was so captivating that we stayted there quite a while & tried to capture on camera. Easier said than done! But voilà one of the results. Thanks for all your comments! I am always amazed by the numerous feedback on my takes, unfortunately I am running out of time to answer each and everyone. Hope no-one will be offended by this general but genuine "thank you". Thanks for your valuable tips and/or constructive input!!

Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanLovely image. Nicely framed, Personally I'd crop a little off the top but thats a bit nit picky, and I have no idea what I'm doing myself half the time. 7 Dec 2006 11:09am Stu from Kyoto, Japanlovely...lovely shot manuela. great DoF. nicely composed. The subject looks elegant and it really stands out against the background. 7 Dec 2006 11:56am Suby from Milton Keynes, United KingdomWell framed shot. I swear I will one day go out and take images like these :) 7 Dec 2006 7:42pm Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaGreat vivid colours. I agree with Stu, the DoF is great, nice shot! 8 Dec 2006 12:38am Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanGreat get with the completely horizontal leaf!!! Almost like the plant was posing for you or it was giving you some directions. Great work with this the colours are not over done by any means just a nice soft and suttle picture. Relaxing is the word I'm looking for I guess. 8 Dec 2006 3:08pm Shuva from Hyderabad, IndiaGood DOF, the green long leaf in the plane catches the eye! 9 Dec 2006 12:44pm Martin from a small village in Lower Austria, AustriaI really like the DoF here. The image is very well composed. This reminds me a bit of Provence with its purple lavender fields. Beautiful! 9 Dec 2006 4:37pm |
