@adalove: This is a chestnut tree. First the "balls" are tiny and green, in time they darken to brown. When ripe the "balls" fall down and burst: chestnuts are inside. Thanks for stopping by ;)

Nice shot. We have many trees like this in our town but it's imposible to make a shot - too high. :) And children call the seeds "hedge-hogs".

Danke für Deine Einladung zu dem Blog! Es ist komisch zu sehen wie Leute die gleiche Stadt besuchen können und so verschiedene Sachen fotografieren! Ich finde die "rusty" Serie am besten... Ich hatte auch ein paar mal versucht Ketten zu knipsen, hatte aber kein Glück...
A pro po... Wir waren in den letzten Tagen des Aprils und in der ersten Woche im Mai in Köln...

@juant3: Danke für dein Besuch! Der Konzert (Roger Waters, ex-Pink Floyd) war am 16 April. Wir waren dann da die gesamte Wochenende davor... eindeutlich haben wir uns doch nicht getroffen ;) Ich hoffe ich habe nicht so viele Fehler, mein schriftliches Deutsch ist nicht so toll... sorry!

there is a similar fruit here called The Rambutan.. except the rambutan looks sweeter and juicier.. dunno about yours tho! ;)
