4. like a candle in the wind

Now, I will tell you the entire story...
On my way back from Stuttgart (meeting), I stopped on a rest area along the highway. Just could not resist to take some photos as the grass was full of these little fellows. I picked up one and was holding it in the breeze with one hand and photographing with the other hand... quite a balance act. I knew from the beginning that this would become a b&w series and I am very touched that you all enjoyed it!

Yes, we really did enjoy them all. Are they allergic if they git into your nose. My nose is a bit sessitive to such things.

@Shuva Brata Deb: No, Shuva. The seeds are usually too big to get into your nose and make their way to the lungs. I am also allergic to a few things and I had no problem even though the whole field was spreading the seeds, it looked like snow!

I love the detail in dandelions. They are so beautiful in black and white when they are in seed. Who cares if they are vile weeds! They are awesome photographic subjects.
