I first thought that the branches in the left bottom corner also belonged to a deer. Perfect camouflage, indeed! What's also original and impressive, is the head popping up from behind a dune hill so that it almost seems if the rest of the deer's body is buried under the sand. Last but not least: the blood on his antlers, maybe he has been rubbing the skin off it? Splendid picture!
