@celialee: It means "cousin" (woman). Still makes no sense... Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaOm my, thats really is some serious flooding! Nice capture. 9 Oct 2007 2:01pm Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesWell looks like there may be Fresh Fish available at this stand. On a more serious side - it is sad to see something get flooded like this. 9 Oct 2007 4:43pm Illuci from NetherlandsI think it's maybe part of a restaurant terrace's roof or something like that and the word "cuisine" (kitchen) has been spelled wrongly. "Cousine" means "niece", I looked it up, but no sense can be made out of this. Was it taken in a French-speaking area? I'm getting curious. 9 Oct 2007 8:34pm @Illuci: I know... this is so mysterious and I do not have any answers (after racking my brains for so long over it). This has been taken in a wildpark so it cannot be a restaurant, although I also thought about some mispelling and immediately came up with "cuisine" but still there was none near the area ;) Wolfgang Prigge from CanadaVielleicht sind die Tiere di dort normalerweise sind verwandt mit den Tieren nebenan? 9 Oct 2007 9:09pm @Wolfgang Prigge: Good thought Wolfgang! Markus from Reading, United KingdomSeltsam, seltsam! If it is meant for ducks or turtles or other animals it could really be a misspelled "cuisine"! I know a refuge situated in a pond which is called "Duckingham Palace"!!! =^D 9 Oct 2007 10:35pm bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United Kingdomgreat shot/great mystery--nice one Manuela--billy 10 Oct 2007 12:00am Mohamadreza from Melbourne, AustraliaNice, but the reflection on the water is not complete, I wish you could remove that thing in the middle of the left side of the photo. Overall, well done, good luck, 10 Oct 2007 1:36am amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaJust bizarre. ... the sign that is. At first I was thinking of alligators and someone had a rich sense of humour but had spelled "cuisine" wrong but having read everyone's comments.. shrug... it's a mystery. 10 Oct 2007 1:58am Illuci from NetherlandsIt could also be a person's name. If it's in a wild park it could indicate the area Mr. or Mrs. Cousine is in charge with. Or an animal's species name, only guessing... 10 Oct 2007 6:56pm |
