A nice "summery" picture with lots of sun, warmth and water. I love the variety of depth as well which includes the close fountain and the distant mountains.

There's some great layering in this one from the fountain to the trees to the mountain. Nicely done, Manuela!

What a delicious place to be! I hope the "mad king" wasn't that disturbed in his mind that he couldn't enjoy this, maybe he enjoyed it too much.

@Illuci: Thanks Illuci!
Actually after reading a lot more in detail about the King, I found out that there are lots of tales going around. In fact, I was rather impressed by all his achievements and in the end, he way trapped into a big complot machinery. His death is still a mystery unsolved... In my opinion he was too avant-garde for the time: anti-war, supporting the poor, preserving nature's beauty, supporting many kinds of creativity, music, architecture, etc. This was not quite the main stream at that time and of course he hit against some hard walls. One more thing, all his castles were funded from his own private money.
Thanks for the visit!
