This is simply adorable, these red squirrels are very rare here now, their food has been eaten by the grey squirrel :( a fantastic catch Manuela.

A cute little guy.Although in answer to Mary´s comment,I did read an article recently that said that research is now showing that the Red squirrel is increasing in numbers in Britain and not only giving the "American" imported squirrel a run for his money but in some parts once again becoming the dominant species.Well done Lad !!

Ich weiss es nicht... die waren zu zweit & sahen sehr ähnlich aus!
I do not know for sure if it is the same or not , as they were in fact two and looked so alike!

Cute little guy.... I prefer the Red to the Gray ones. At the sandy beaches of Formby North of Liverpool there is quite a big colony of Red squirrels.
