Water seems even choppy between the break waters. I can only imagine how powerful the water was before the installation of the breakwaters. A great way to compose this, going from corner to corner.

@Remus: Muito obrigado! Sim as férias foram boas mas o tempo foi mau... Tinhamos tantos planos e só fizemos a metade. Mais uma vez, muito obrigado de escolher a minha fotografía... só estou intentando mostrar as belezas da Alemanha donde vivo desde mais de 25 anos, espero conseguir. Até breve, Manu ;)

Manuela some time ago I took a photo of a similar construction over a river in Idanha a Velha. It was used also as a bridge between the two sides. It think it is very old, and it's possible that it had been built during the roman empire, 'cause that vilage was an important city back then and that bridge is just next to the ruins.

H Manuela. The way you've isolated this part of one of these breakwaters and placed it within the frame really brings out the irregular form that it has. Looks like an art work. You have a great eye for this kind of thing.
