Nice shot actually ! :) DOF is very difficult to manage.
I don't know if you can modify the speed and aperture of your APN. If you can, you can get more DOF by reducing the aperture. You have F/4.0, which is a great aperture.
Maybe you can try other programs like the landscape mode, if the macro mode does not work this way, to increase the DOF. But I don't know if it will work on your cam.
